You need to Shortcut the battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs.

SOURCE: Fossil Big Tic Watch - setting the correct time on the digital display

The watch is scrolling through the seconds, and is not something that needs to be set. If there is a bottom it is only there to change the way the seconds are scrolling? There are many different types of these, but most are just standard seconds.

SOURCE: Fossil watch battery

It is a 364 battery. You can order these online from many battery outlets, even ebay.If your watch is 5ATM or more, it has a pressure seal, and you might want to send it to the Fossil service centre to have it changed and resealed.

What kind d of battery does a fossil blue am-4065 take?

Hi Cassandra.

this is what i found out from the net.

Most hybrids are compatible with any CR2430 coin cell battery, which allows them to hold a charge for 4 to 6 months. Swapping in a new coin cell lithium battery can be done easily and in just a few simple steps, plus CR2430 batteries are available from most retailers that sell batteries.

Battery replaced; but won't restart

Well, if the battery doesn't fix the problem, send it into fossil. They have a great warranty usually 11-13 years. They will probably send you a brand new watch.

Broken digital clock

First of all visit the FOSSIL site from my tips and tricks. If you can not find the solution there, check out if you have two batteries in your watch. It is quite common to have two batteries in Fossil watches (same do Timex). If nothing helps, you have to visit your nearest watch repair shop.
