Hey i just had the same problem im form denver colorado my cd wouldnt spin or the laser would not move then it wouldnt eject it i took it to this place called downtown radio and i tought they where gonna need to get some parts from pioneer the problem was that the IC Protector IC protectors are a type of solid state fuse often seen in consumer electronic equipment.http://freespace.virgin.net/matt.waite/resource/handy/icprotector.htm look at this site and the show what they look like its the N type there about $1 or $2 they fixed it for me and they charged me 130 so look around and find out what they are and try to find it in the cd deck its really small!!!!!
SOURCE: New Laser
If a new laser does not work, there should be a small ball of solder applied at the factory shorting the static sensitive laser diode. Find that and unsolder it after grounding yourself and your soldering pen.
