Sanyo nvm 4370 gps wont start canot reinstale software

I have the same problem. It may have something to do with battery. Try to charge it via your car. Or get a Garmin and never buy a Sanyo GPS again.

Sell it and buy a tom tom sanyo doesn't care they just want money the easiest way they can get it without backing there products as usual

Your GPS battery is dried out, use the original car charger or one that can output at least 1.5 Amp.

charger does not have enought power to charge the unit at a fast enought rate. Try a diff charger. one for a gps not a phone

CAUTION - I called SANYO's customer service @ (800) 421-5013 to ask about map upgrades, getting maps for other countries for the SANYO NVM -4370. The answer: THERE IS NO CURRENT ABILITY TO UPGRADE EITHER SOFTWARE OR MAPS!!

NVM-4370 shipped with one voice per language therefore you will not able to do so.

Main Menu -> Settings -> Language.

If your device still does not respond after performing "reset", disconnect all cables, including the car adaptor, from your device. Slide the battery ON/OFF switch on the bottom of the device to the OFF (left) position. Then slide it to the ON position again.
