Sir..thanks for more information abut your unit..the best memory u need is 1gig DDR1 or (X2)times two 512Mb DDR1 PC400 memory..Thanks and Good Luck...^_^..Have a nice Day Sir..
Yes it's possible to expand your PC memory module RAM, for the best memory RAM - it's best to review/check the product/operations manual of your PC to make sure what are the type & size of memory RAM your PC motherboard can support. per my research on your PC model, the type & size of memory RAM compatible to your PC is 1GB PC-2100 unbuffered DDR DIMM. best regards
Yes, it may be possible, though it's proving difficult to find specifications for this slightly older desktop. The type of RAM that you would be looking for is PC-2100. If you want the best performance though, I suggest running 2 sticks of 512MB each (as chances are the system probably won't support more than 1GB of RAM)

Thanks for your answers. Well, the problem is that I don't have the computer by me now. It is hundert kilometer away from me. They gave me only the model number of the computer and I thought that looking at the site in HP it would be enough to find out what is the best model for the memories, but this model I have not found in the site. So the data I have is Compaq D51C/P18A/40/P/128c LTNA and the serial number 6y2A-KN87-M09Y.The processor is Intel Pentium 4, 1.8 GHz with Cache L2 512KB. Hope this help to clarify.
Hi, I have found the solution to this problem in the site PCMemoryStore. They said that this computer has a 2 GB limit expansion. Thank you for your help. What have helped me is that you tell me that this memory is PC-2100, this helped a lot.
