Usually you need a rear bicycle rack of which the baby carrier attaches to.

How do i adjust the harness on a Beto baby bike seat

Fitting with a child seat on your bike
Panniers put the weight around or between the axles. Child seats put the weight above and - more significantly - behind the rear axle, which destabilises the bike. Get a plumb line to check where the base of the seat is relative to the rear axle.

Peugeot 307 estate wagon

In the outer rear seats, you may use either the ISOFIX attachments or the seat belt. In the center rear seating position, you may only use the seat belt.

Carefully read the instructions for your child seat and the vehicle manual. They will give you directions to install your child seat properly.

Can you add a child seat to the diamondback clarity bike?

That would depend on the specific child's seat and what it requires for attachment points. I imagine the smaller bike frames might limit the ability to maintain clearances between the child and moving bike or rider parts.

There are a number of different schemes. Try these...

I have a second hand rear facing maxi cosi car seat and need to find out how to install this properly? Please send me instructions or installation guide etc.....

Hi Vanessa - We cannot recommend you use a 2nd hand carseat for exactly this reason. A carseat fitted with a 3 point seatbelt requires a physical fitting from a trained member of staff prior to purchase to ensure suitability, and to demonstrate to you how to correctly install it in your car to ensure your child is safe. Please attend an authorised retailer and ask for a carseat fitting from a trained member of staff to establish the most suitable carseat for you and your vehicle and to ensure you know how to fit it correctly.

Is there any way to know how much length diff or gap should be there in the heights of the handle bar and seat because obviouslymy child seems to have problem riding the bike for long and I am not able...

Always have the right size for the child to ride. It is very dangerous to give them a bike too big, you do not buy big shoes so do not try to save money that way. The seat height is gauged by the leg length, he should be able to get off easily, handlebars are according to personal preference and comfort. We sell 5000+ bicycles a year at our bike store and we size them to the person, do you know there are 24 different frame sizes in a 26" bike? Huffy makes one size in the ladies bike, it is a 19" frame, kind of a one size fits all, it does not work that way, not all size 10 clothes are the same length same with bikes. I say buy the child the right size and do not risk injury or death with the wrong size. Also, a helmet is a must, you don't recover from a brain injury. Remember, a broken arm mends, brains don't.

Does the Hamax child's bike seat fix to the seat

I think that the discovery 102 (now discontinued) fits on both the seat tube (where the seat post goes into) and the back seat stays. (near where the childs feet rest)

Can't fit my rear axel

hi jenny,

what is the brand and model of your frame and your rear wheel assembly?usual fitting is better made with the bike mounted upside down, letting gravity make the balancing. but this is possible to most mountain bike, not most road bikes.

looking forward to your reply.
