There could be several reasons why your treadmill is stopping after running for only a few seconds. Here are a few things you can check:
Power source: Make sure your treadmill is properly plugged in and that the power outlet is working.
Safety key: Ensure that the safety key is in place and fully inserted into the console. If the safety key is not properly inserted, the treadmill will not function.
Motor: If the motor is not working properly, the treadmill may stop after running for only a few seconds. Check the motor by turning the treadmill on and listening for any unusual noises.
Belt: A loose or worn-out belt can cause the treadmill to stop running. Check the belt tension and replace the belt if necessary.
Control board: If the control board is malfunctioning, it can cause the treadmill to stop running. Check the control board for any signs of damage or wear.
If you are unable to diagnose the issue, it may be best to contact a professional to come and take a look at your treadmill.
Try lubricating the belt. My treadmill requires lubricant every now and then. Its not your treadmill but a treadmill is a treadmill. That's what stops the belt from slowing down due to friction. Go to your nearest Gym they may be able to sell you a tube of lubricant. Good Luck
