If the oven was still slightly warm to the touch when you came home is probably fine. 45 minutes was not enough time to get the turkey hot down near the bone, so if it was cool I would discard it. But if you were lucky and it was still warm, go ahead.

Oven will not shut off. Only 1 day old.

I would get it replaced or repaired under the manufacturers warranty.

Need to know the cooking time and temp in C in fan forced oven for pork loin roll weighing 1.22kg

usually 40 minutes per 500 grams at 180 degrees C

Our SVE47500 or SVE47600 oven has just completely stopped working. The oven was cooking the turkey throughout the night. The timer started going off and even when you cancelled the timer, it still went...

This sounds like you somehow got a little moisture in the controls. With any luck, after it sits for awhile it will dry out and begin working again. Turn your circuit breaker off and let it sit for about an hour to see if you have any luck. It is possible to speed up the drying process by using a hair dryer aimed at your control panel. Use the cold setting on your hair dryer. Repost back here and let me know how you made out. We can trouble further if your unit still does not work.

How best to cook turkey. What setting?

hi friend,
step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Step 2 Remove turkey from its wrapping and remove neck and giblets from inside the cavity. Set aside to make gravy later (see Related eHows).
  • Step 3 Rinse turkey inside and out with cold water. Pat dry with paper towels.
  • Step 4 Put oven rack on lowest level of oven.
  • Step 5 Place turkey, breast side up, on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
  • Step 6roast1s.jpg Rub the outside of the turkey with olive oil.
  • Step 7roast2s.jpg Salt and pepper the turkey's body and cavity.
  • Step 8roast3s.jpg Roast turkey about 3 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the thigh registers 175 to 180 degrees F.
  • jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); Tips & Warnings
    • In general, a turkey should be roasted 10 to 12 minutes per pound if it is not stuffed and 12 to 15 minutes per pound if it is stuffed.
    • In general, you shouldn't cover a roasting turkey (or any roasting meat); you want the skin to get a nice, deep brown all over, and you don't want it to steam in its own juices. However, if the turkey begins to brown too quickly, well before it's likely to be done, you can cover the brown parts loosely with aluminum foil. (This is likely to happen with larger birds.) Try to cover as little of the turkey as possible so you don't create steam.

The inside door on my oven is cracked. What can I do to make the oven usable to cook Turkey?

If it is only cracked and still otherwise intact (not shattered in bits) you are OK to cook the turkey. Just don't put it in self clean until you replace or have the glass replaced. Brian

I AM COOKING MY TURKEY AND AN F10CODE COMES UP CAN I CONTINUE OR WHAT

F10 on Kenmore ovens means Runaway temperature error, it means that the probe sensor detected overheating.

Stop the oven and allow cooling for one hour or so, with the power cord unplugged.

If error is still there, then you will need to call the technician and have parts below checked and eventually replaced.

About the turkey, see if you can borrow one of your neighbour's oven to finish cooking, or leave it half baked and put it back into the oven if the oven restart after cooling up. Remember that you will need to add some more time to the total cooking time, as the turkey will get cold inside.
