First put pulley onto blower fan housing i think you have to counter clock turn to put the pulley by hand. put you one hand inside the blower housing and hold the fan then use pliers and tight the pulley. now put belt on motor pulley first then put belt on blower's pulley it is hart to put on so little belt on pulley and use other hand and turn fan from inside so blower's pulley turn and belt get to pulley. last tight the pulley again. turn fan by hand to make sure belt run ok. hope it will help you.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Cabrio - How do I tell if my heating

If you are comfortable useing a volt meter and a ohm meter I can walk you throught the steps otherwise you need to call a repairman, If you are not getting any heat and the tumbler is turning it is possible the element is bad again only a test meter can tell for sure or you can take the dryer apart and look at the element to see if it is broken make sure the power is turned off at the breaker first also unplug the dryer.

I am getting an error code of AF when my Whirlpool Cabrio wed7300xw0 dryer is in operation. How can I fix this problem?

This is fairly common most of the time the blower drive belt or pulley has fallen off. This video should get you headed in the right direction. Although the video below shows a maytag dryer it is the same cabrio style dryer you have.

Whirlpool cabrio model # wtw5500xw1. Horrible screeching noise when it goes into spin, then shuts off

Since I don't have the service manual for this model- I'm unsure if this is a direct drive motor to transmission or belt driven through pulleys.

In first scenario motor bearing is shot

Belt driven model, belt is worn or derailed from pulley

3rd reason, clothes could be stuck between spin drum and tub assembly, causing the spin drum to jam.

Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer MOD WED5600XW0 making whirring noise

take the bottom panel off, you'll see a metal duct that the lint filter slides down into, there's a blower wheel behind the duct,if the wheel cracks or gets loose where it connects to the motor shaft it can make this sound, start the dryer and listen to see if the noise comes from there.if you can't tell unplug the dryer, pull out the lint filter and then take out the screws that hold the metal duct in place and remove it,now you can see the blower wheel, spin the drum by hand and see if the blower wheel moves with the drum and belt.if it looks fine stop spinning it and grab the wheel and see if it feels loose,if it is you will be able to tell.also while you have the duct off clean it out,you should take it off at least once a year and clean it out, then vac out the cabinet and blow out your vent line with a leaf blower if it's long, just remove it from the back of the dryer, stick a leaf blower into the vent line and blow it out.go outside first and make sure the outside duct is clear,no cage or anything that will block the lint from blowing outside.if the blower wheel is ok then the noise could be the belt roller or belt pulley, thety sell a kit with all the parts together but usually when someone says it's making a whirring sound it most likely is the blower wheel.hope this helps.

My cabrio dryer wed7600xwo is no longer drying right, I have to run loads 3 times to get them dry. What could the problem be?

This dryer has 2 belts. A smaller belt operates the blower. The nut tends to back out and the small belt falls off. Here is the result:

Look around on my foggy site for your service manual. Let me know

We have a air flow problem but exaust tube is not clogged no air coming out of bottom of dryer

On this weird dryer the blower is not mounted to the motor. Instead a fancy blower is mounted away from the dryer and requires a second smaller belt to drive it. What goes wrong? The drive pulley for the blower often falls off the motor. Locktite is recommended to keep the blower pulley secure to the motor shaft or this will be the result:
MAYTAG 2 BELT dryer innards

How to replace blower wheel on whirlpool cabrio dryer

The threads are backwards. The pulley end of the motor has a flat spot on it where 7/16 wrench fits. I use a wrench to hold that part down and then I basically shove a flat piece of iron actually ot it a tub nut remover tool into the bales at the 3 o'clock position and slam down the a 12 pound hammer. Sometimes the pulley on these breaks. Most times though if you get mean with it you can get it off there in one piece. The cabinet might be fancy but it has the same setup and any roper/kenmore.whirlpool dryer motor with filter in the top. My crappy home movie of how it all goes down
