My RCA Lyra RD2780 will not power on. I have tried to plug it in with power adapter and I also tried connecting to my computer.
I read that it might be that my battery is dead. QUESTION: IF I CHANGE MY BATTERY WILL I LOSE ALL MY FILES ON MY DEVICE.

plug the lyra up to your computer and go into windows explorer. once you are in there and you have found the external drive thaat your player is on double click on it. Then go to video, select the file you would like to delete with a right click of your mouse. Select delete and then select yes to verify that you want to selete it.
download both files. the format the lyra from windows explorer (fat32).
the install the a/v jukebox. it will put an icon in the system tray. right clic it and select "update system files" (or something like that). when it´s done, disconnect the lyra from the PC and reboot the lyra. It will update automatically.
then download the second file to update firmware. that should work.
