Have vertical lines across the entire screen. Occurred about 2 months ago. Can this be cheaply fixed?
It sounds to be a T'Con fault. If you wish to get some details, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts. Defective screen shots to LCD TVs are given with fault details. Try this link too.http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/

It could possibly be the inverter board or digital board depending on the lop when the problem happens. Only way to test this would be to scope the waveform at various test points on the digital board and test for the presence of HV on the inverter board... This is clearly something you need to find a qualified tech for and I could suggest you might try http://www.akaiusa.com/ for help in locating one..
Good Luck!

It could have a bad Q-Box. It could cause both problems. The Optical Block also has the ability to cause it too. I would call a service professional to be sure due to the cost of the parts.
Hope this helps,

This sounds like a defective T-Con board. I recommend having it looked at by a professional.

It is under warranty, have it check before warranty runs out ASAP because you do not want to have something else goes wrong either.
