You probably need a new battery then. Yours is going out.

Casio wave ceptor hands running 8 minutes slow. Digital clock showing correct time. Hands 8 minutes slow even if I change time manually.

You may need to recalibrate the hands. Sometimes the hands are out of sync with timekeeping. Go to the Casio website, download the manual for your model, and follow instructions for resetting the position of the hands (might be referred to as zeroing or recalibaration).

Eddie bauer watch runs slow

This usually means the battery is dying. Usually the backs on these are very tight, and the back has to be taken off to replace the battery. You might be able to get the back off without damaging the watch, but you probably will not get it back on without breaking the crystal. Best thing to do is take it to a reputable watch repair place or jewelry shop and have them replace the battery for you. Before they begin, make sure they are willing to replace the crystal for free for you if they break it!

Omega Seamaster gaining about 10 minutes per hour

Hi honestfunguy. Take it back! Omega watches are usually guaranteed for 2 years or even 3 years (Co-axial escapement), so you should not have a problem getting it repaired under warrantee. No way should it be be gaining (or losing) 10 minutes per day, let alone 10 minutes per hour. Could be any number of things, from a broken mainspring to problems with the timing regulator, but they are very complex watches and should not be looked at by anyone apart from Omega whilst in warrantee, otherwise you'll probably void the warrantee. Hope this helps; Eagle58

New watch is losing 5 to 15 minutes a day

This could be that the battery is slow. Newer swiss watches have a indicator in the movement of the watch that makes the sweep second hand skip every few seconds to indicate that the battery is slow. On regular japan made watches the watch just simply starts slowing down. Your watch could be new but the battery in it could have a long shelf life.

I inherited a grandfather clock which runs slow

You have to adjust the bob on pendulum. If the clock is slow, the bob on the rod must be pushed up. If the clock is fast, the bob must be pushed down. Do adjustments bit by bit, day by day till the clock is keeping time. If all this does not work, you may need to replace suspension spring (if there is any). If there are no suspension spring, the clock may need proffessional attention.

Casio wave ceptor 4306 is 10 minutes slow

I had the same problem this week and after downloading and reading the operation guide, I found the "adjusting the home positions" procedure in page 2, I followed the instructions and now my Casio 4303 is up and running, I got the operation guide from: http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw4303.pdf (thanks to jeffw284 for the information).
I hope this helps to solve your problem.
Best regards.
