I have an error code F01 E02. I get it after waiting a minute or two, during which time the washer appears to be working normally. Then the error code occur. I have disconnected the power, hot and cold water. The results are the same. I've read that the E02 error is the water not getting through. There is no kink in the hot or cold water line. It is the computer? Where is it? Can I get another chip? How hard is in to replace?

SOURCE: I have a whirlpool front load washing machine model WFW8300SW00

Hay Crab.
what I have found is that the washer thinks it is not pumping out .. if your drain pump is clearly removing the all the water in a good time... then the problem is your pressure switch...it is telling the computer that it still has water in the machine...

replace the pressure switch and it will solve your f21 error.

It is a round unit on the right hand side on top...with a tube and wires going to it...let me know if it helps

SOURCE: I have a Bosch washer wfc5301uc it is showing error code E02

Could be a faulty inlet valve, or not enough pressure to operate valve,
Remove hose onto valve, and check the water is getting to it o/k,turning off the water to the valve before you undo the hose.
Hope this helps.

I have a whirlpool duet front load washer with error code E02 F01.

According to https://www.justanswer.com/appliance/7w4q8-f01-e02-error-code-showing-whirlpool-front.html, it indicates that the controller isn't getting readings from drum tachometer. Could possibly be loose wire. Replacement parts said to be $200, so may not be worth buying.

you might be able to sell to someone willing to diagnose & fix.

Error code E02 and F01.

Replace the motor control board. The machine cannot tell the speed any longer. These boards are expensive and even much more time consuming to think you can repair the board. Call your local parts place and ask them if they can have the board tested, if you want to .

1. Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds.
2. Re-apply power and observe for at least one minute.
3. If code re-appears, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

Washer will not run

f06 OR e02 error code means you have an interface communication error. the main control board isn't communicating with the front interface control board. if you pull the washer out and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. check all the wire connections between the two control board and make sure they are all secure. if everything looks good, then the interface control board may need to be replaced.
f01 e02 means that your motor control board is not reading the tachometer on your motor when it tries to turn the motor. it thinks that the motor is struggling. open the door and turn the basket to make sure it spins freely.

Error code F01 E02

For how long did you unplug the power cord? If it was under 5 minutes, unplug it for longer. Check if that clears the error code. If it doesn't, the motor control unit needs to be replaced.

Please double check your model number to get the correct part. Most of the Whirlpool washers have model numbers that start with 3 letters.

I hope this helps.

Hello, I have a whirlpool duet wfw94hexlo washer. got an error code, drain filter assy., cleaned it put it together. when you go to start machine all seems normal. you push start, door locks, light comes...

Great! you have the MCU (motor control unit) need to replace. Removing the rear panel so you are able to see the motor and MCU. Replacement is easy, almost no screw on the board.

Whirlepool duet front load washer error codes F01 and E02

Whirlpool Duet Washer model number WFW94HEW2

My wife put a bunch of wet towels in the washer after this we got Codes F01 E02. I freaked out.
Under the top(roof) panel of machine there is was a service technicians manual that explain how to enter Service Diagnostic mode and explained fault/error codes and their possible causes. This isnt for the faint among us. But if you can solder and work with electronics you can diagnose the problem. The technician manual tells you check this, then this and if that doesn't work/ or does work go to 'C', then go to 'D' etc. Either way I ended up diagnosing that it was my MCU (motor control Unit), you did have to use my multi-meter, for ohms and resistance, but it wasn't rocket science. Upon close observation there was a burnt connection solder point on the board. I looked up the part online and ordered, wasn't cheap. $225.00. But just to come diagnose the machine Whirlpool was going to charge $100.00 + parts and whatever else. The moral of the story is if you can tinker and be careful you can totally do this.
