If the function or hot keys do not work after upgrading to the Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system, follow the procedure below to resolve the issue.

Install the following applications in order, all of which are available through the Drivers & Software link on this page.

Decide How You Want to Get the Update There are two ways to obtain the software update:

2. Request the Update be Mailed to You:

You need to update VAIO Care Software and installed the new Patch released for the Software to resolve the issue.

Below are the link to download the Updates, please download and install the Updates in the given order (as per version).

Please download and install all the three Updates in the Computer. Please click on the "Download now" button on the page to download the file to a folder in the Computer. After that, open the folder where the file is download and double click on it to begin the installation. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. Please make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation for the settings to take the effect. This should fix the issue.
