SMBus driver not installed windowsxp sp3 - Intel D101GGC Motherboard

My computer Mother Board Intel D101ggc not support Audio and Audio Device, How to repair it?

What year is the motherboard or laptop. If its more than 4 years old the new motherboards or laptops wont install windows xp sp3 drivers try getting a laptop or motherboard from 2008 to 2012

Windows is not recognizing the SMBus controller and needs the Intel chipset driver.

If you have backup media for your PC, look for the Intel Chipset driver on the backup CDs. You may also be able to download it from your PC manufacturer's website.

Otherwise, you can download and install the generic Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility.

After the driver is installed, you should no longer observe the exclamation mark next to the SMBus controller in Device Manager.

I would say that you should install WinXP SP3 (if you are using WinXP) or Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver from Microsoft and then restart computer, it should work. here is the link for UAA Driver ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp32501-33000/sp32646.exe

You should not NEED to install the chipset driver unless there are items in device manager such as (SMBUS controller) that show up with a yellow exclamation point or show up as unknown. Acer is (unfortunately) notorious for putting bluetooth switches and software on laptops that don't have have bluetooth cards from the manufacturer - these laptops are just "bluetooth ready" meaning you will need to install a bluetooth card for it to work.

you have to install the microsoft uaa driver patch for service pack first, then install the drivers

If you're using a USB network adaptor, you'll have to install the driver fro that particular model first.
