Problems with kenwood kdc-mp2028

I have hooked up an amp to my current cd player and speakers in the back. How do I make the amp power on with the cd player. I have the back speakers running to the amp which then runs to the stereo. The wiring should all be right, but the stereo not reading the back speakers, it should be reading them through the amp. Unfortunately, I don't have the remote for this system any more either, so everything must be done by the face plate.
Thanks

The remote from the amp should be connected to the remote (blue wire) or power antena wire from the radio.

No sound from my front and back speakers in my van ive got subs

Make sure that when you hooked up your 4 channel amp to the remote turn on lead it is the same as the sub. Only hook amps to the Blue w/ white strip. The solid blue is power antenna lead and will lose power when on CD, ipod etc and only stays powered when the Tuner is on. Hope this fixes your problem.

Kenwood KDC-MP538U - no sound.

My issue was that I didn't have the blue "amp" wire hooked up and I had a factory amp.

Kenwood kdc-mp528 amp/speaker problem???

This is a common mistake. This problem indicates that you are using the solid blue wire from the head unit to the remote turn-on on the amp. This is a power antenna wire that only receives power when on FM radio. You need to replace this with the Blue & White wire from the head unit (power control wire) to your remote turn-on on your amp. This should solve your issue.

My deck doesnt not transmit signal to my amp. Is this an rca cable problem

Hi Your problem is almost defenetly that one speaker is hooked up with reversed polarities, making one speaker cancel out some vibrations of the other speaker. So get the wiring phase checked again, its ethier this or a fauly cable. Good luck.
