Go to the hp.com site and search for said driver. Sometimes they do not update their drivers for older machines, but I am not familiar with this one. Good luck. Once a year Staples will have a special where one can trade in an old machine for a discount on a new HP.

I need drivers for my HP laserjet 5l

You don't need to, they are part of W7 to begin with. You need however to go thru an install process, here

Burn windows 7 iso for hp laptop to dvd

OLD DV6910. note book. (circa 2007 ) near end of HP support.!
MS stopped VISTA this spring.
no, toshiba is no good, as are all other PCs makers disks no good. your PC us USA HP computer, its not from Japan.
sorry. only MS disks or best of best HP disks work.

the ISO from MS, how'd you get that, and when.?
the current link at MS needs valid RETAIL COA code to download it.(oem codes not)
The MS disk do not have all drivers need, to make an HP pc run..
sure it will load, but many things CAN be dead.

is your F11 restore dead too? (its VISTA, if you dont know)
power on , F11, f11, f11, f11 , hammer it. see the HP restore?

here is your official HP support page.'

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6900-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/3725196/model/3740554
see? that

and all were shipped with VISTA, and F11 key restores
VISTA , there is no W7 drivers. from HP , zero

"i got image to burn.?"
so then what?, did you install W7?
and see all those dead chips? in device manager
did you get Ethernet working first so W7 can PNP the drivers automatically, /??
Things that can fail are.
HP special drivers for like , hot keys, that MS does not have
all HP apps will be missing.
and all drivers for old vista chips not supported under w7
see?>

MS loads. here is the path (using ms, disk and not HP media kit)
why not get the HP kit from HP???????

  1. Get MS w7 ISO, from MS using the $120 key, COA key,
  2. oops the HP key is no good, its OEM key/.
  3. down load ISO from MS.
  4. burn a USB stick or DVD from ISO, (Rufus, or imgburn free)
  5. boot PC using BIOS boot to DVD or stick as the case applies.
  6. W7 Loads, ok. (it runs sure, but...)
  7. W7 fails on Ethernet or wifi, one must work now or doomed, lacking other PC to find drivers from chip makers or MS.
  8. I wire up the Ethernet jack RJ45 cat 5 to my router.
  9. the internet is connected, i then let W7 find the drivers, good luck finding them all.. some can be missing, on 10 year old LT.
  10. if at wits end see this , on how to get them the HARD way.
  11. http://www.pcdied.com/Drivers.html

if you make a PCI scanner boot disk (or stick)
http://www.pcdied.com/pci-101.html
you can find most drivers. (mine never fails)
using he scanner on any PC we see all chips
and with vista drivers failing on w7
we go to the makers site and get the W7 driver
as seen here, PCI sniffer3 , I uses this all the time.
for exactly this reason.

the HP media kit DVD set is for VISTA only.
sorry.

Need default printer driver for color laserjet 3800n for windows 7 32 bit operating system

The Windows 7 has a compatible driver for many teams, try your printer is a greatadvantage when connecting it almost immediately begins to install. And do not waste your time searching for drivers on the network, there is little to W7

Hp 3390 work with w7 64x in scan mode ???

Your 3390 will only scan by using the Windows scanning software, the HP solutions do not work on Windows 7.

This is how you can scan from your 3390, assuming you have been able to get it working for printing on your system.
  1. Click the Windows (c01367376.gif ) icon.

  2. Click All Programs .

  3. Click Windows Fax and Scan .

  4. Click New Scan , and then click Scan .

Have just bought a new desktop with Win7 and a usb to parallel cable to connect to the LJ 5L, I installed but it wont print. any ideas as to what the solution is? Could it be the cable or is Win7...

Your printer supports W7 and the driver is located below. You need to first unplug the printer, uninstall it from the control panel and then restart the computer. Then download your driver and install it. HP printers need the Full Version software, not the just the driver that W7 loads when it discovers it.

Do NOT plug the printer back into the computer until prompted by the software.

I am failing to install a hp 1010 laserjet printer to windows 7 ... i have an installation disk but it keeps on giving an error message

Put the CD in a drawer and you'll be better off :-)

Windows 7 support is part of the operating system. The other day, I did an HP-2510 printer on W7 and it was automatic. According to the HP website, it uses the Vista drivers. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=120&prodSeriesId=3463669&prodTypeId=18972&objectID=c01856597

I've got a HP Pavilion DV 9700 with 3GB RAM, it's running Windows 7 professional 32bit. It has a video card Geforce 8600m GS, I downloaded the drivers from the Nvidia web page but the driver doesn't seem...

ITS a NOTBOOK, with fixed GPU. (cant change that)
so what was this PC new. what OS? VISTA
and you put on w7?
if yes, did you look up the rules for w7 on that. first.
that is step one, btw.

i think your OS was changed from VIsta to w7
try the Vista driver below. it might work,.

so why not use the HP drivers, for your PC and leave nvida out.
if the HP drivers fails, due to wrong OS, the ask Nvida for help.
not HP. see? If HP does not support w7 , asking them is fail.

first get right 32bit and 64bit, do that first. then pick W7
then pick GPU driver.
ask HP no matter.
they had Nvida chip or Intel, using the wrong chip driver is FAIL
