And you can turn the panel on/off & the lights work on the panel like nothing is wrong...while the dryer is still running
Follow this steps and fix it. Merry Christmas
Timer
The timer could be the problem. To check this, turn the timer to a timed cycle say 30 minutes or so then time it. If in 30 minutes the timer hasn't moved and the dryer is still on, the timer is faulty replace it. If in 30 minutes the dryer is off, the heating element is your problem
Heating Element
This is the most likely cause for some dryers timer not advancing. Some dryers have two heating elements and if one goes out the timer will not advance if you use it on an automatic cycle but you will still feel heat inside the tub. Replace the heating elements.

There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...

Check to make sure your child lock is off first. Hold the time and signal buttons simultaneously for three seconds. Unlikely, but do check. Some of these dryers have a safety switch that the idler pulley has to engage to allow the dryer to run. I tried to find a schematic for this model but could not get one to tell if you do have a safety switch. Look at the arm of the idler pulley and see if it is contacting the switch actuator correctly. When a belt breaks or pops off, sometimes the arm of the pulley will move to the other side of the switch actuator and will not allow the dryer to run once a belt is reistalled. I would also look to see if a wire was knocked off of the motor switch when your belt came off. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

i would take the plug panel off the back and make sure you are getting the full 220 volts on the terminal,, (it could be in the cord itsself), if that is not your issue, it might be your main board, since it is new i wouldn't tear into it because it will void the warranty
Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is buzzing and goes on pause when you attempt to turn it on. This could be a possible issue with your door latch, door strike, or control panel. If you dryer shows pause that means there is an interruption within your cycle. I would advise to look over your door latch and strike to see if there is any apparent damage to either component. If both components appear to be working properly I would advise to have a technician come out to review your control panel. I hope this information has been helpful to some degree. -Matt
With the model number, go to "SearsParts" and using your model number, type in the information and they will present you a picture so you can see if the felt is replaceable. Also, call Samsung and ask the same question. It very likely is replaceable. I just put one on last month. You will need to take the machine completely apart to do this job.
Be blessed.
