Indication problem Hi, My Sharp AL-1226 is not function. A letter and a number appear alternately. H and 4 appears alternately. The unit is not function. Please give me an advice how to fix it. by the way, I'm in Mongolia in countryside. therefore I myself will fix it.

What Letter and What number?. These usually come up as L - 1 or H - 4...both of which are easily resolved. Just let us know what code is flashing.

H4 is nothing but an error code that appears due to power fluctation(in absence of a stabilizer). You please enter # interrupt-C interrupt -14-start to clear to clear the error

This is called error code which you must specify.For H2,H3,H4, use command 14, for U2 use comm 16.Please specify if neither of this displays.

fuser temp is too low or high, replace the thermistor ( temp regulator) in the fuser.

A letter "L"  and a number "1"  appear alternately = The scan head locking switch is locked. Unlock the scan head locking switch.
