I have CAL error on my maytag oven - Maytag CWE4800A Electric Single Oven

most of error codes disappear when a hard reset is done.

did u try a hard reset first?

There doesn't appear to be an F2 error code! There is an F1-2?

There may be a problem with the Lower Oven Temperature Sensor, the Control, or the associated wiring.

Did you ever get an answer?? Same issue here. Oven is 10 yrs old. Had a different issue the first year & won't be buying an expensive Bosch again.

Maytag error F5 and F3 do have different indications. Error F5 means watchdog and hardware conflict. The only way to resolve this is to replace clock (ERC). On the other hnd, F3 means you have shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD). Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Shorted or open oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
