My brother in law gave me this tv because it wouldnt power on and by the indications he got from Samsung and the internet, it seemed like an easy fix. The internet told him it was a capacitor issue and a repair shop (that knew I wasnt going to have it repaired there) told me the capacitor issue was more common with the 46" model and the 63" had issues with the Y main boards. I checked every board inside of this thing and I can NOT find a single blown capacitor. What can I do?
Needless to say, it's probably not a blown capacitor. If the unit will not power on at all (control/standby indicators are not lit) the problem may be as simple as a blown fuse on your SMPS (near the AC socket) or on your Main Logic PCB. You should also use your fluke/voltmeter to verify that the Vs, Va, Vsc, and Ve values are reasonably close to those specified on the panel label. Re-post your findings!

Howdy,
It would be a lot cheaper if you just replace the two caps that have gone bad. Just get a cheap solder pencil from the store and about an inch of solder and you are in business.
The Power Supply Board is the center Board (towards left) after you remove the back off the TV. Remove Board from TV with the 6-7 screws. Replace capacitors CM852 & CM853; 2200ufd 25volts.
Thaks for using FIXYA, BIG IRISH.

You can't see if a cap is good or bad jus looking at them they have to be measured>They loose their capacitance because they dry overtime.
I do sugest that you replace you power supply module or replace all caps.Possibily you may have a broken line in the PCB
