the tube on the rear is detatchable, and has a 90 degree that is prone to catching debris. Once debris starts backing up in there with hair etc, it puts more stress on the vacuum and the motor will over heat. Once the motor over heats, the vacuum will shut down.
Vacuum cleaners have electric motors in them that require proper airflow to pass over them to keep them cool. Many vacuum cleaners have a thermal (heat) sensitive shut off mechanism built in. This mechanism should prevent the burn out of the motor. If you run a vacuum too long with a clogged hose or clogged filters (especially bagless vacuums) or clogged bags, that is essentially choking the vacuum for air and not allowing it to breath properly. This will cause it to overheat and shut down. Most of the big box store purchased vacuums have very thin wires in the motor windings and can only do this a few times before the motor completely fails. If your vacuum has been shutting down, then cooling off and restarting after about 30 to 45 minutes, then shutting down after only a few minutes of use, your machine is probably clogged up or the filters are compacted.
yes that unit has 2 sensors 1 on the motor and 1 on the relay board 1 of them is bad which is making the vacuum shut its like a heat sensors its malfuctioning it shuts the unit down
It sounds like it's draging on the motor Also heating up the thermister switch. I would recomend having this look at from a vacuum repair shop ask for free estimates if you call around. save some $$$
The motor has a protective overload cutout device to stop it from over heating - this can be caused by a blockage of some sort in the hose or brushroll compartment or blocked filters.
After checking the above and it still cuts out, take it back under gurantee
if this vacume get stopped up the motor will heat up and shut down try and see if the hoses underneith and back are clean and open and also make sure all 3 filters are either new or clean. that should help it form shutting down
Obviously no suction in hose would indicate a blockage, over heating is a breaker that shuts off the machine when it over heats. There is no way to clean hose the on this model because the hose does not detach at either end, therefore I had to employ the use of the good old wire hangar. Job complete up and running, with good suction. It is amazing what a prayer to God can do.
