SOURCE: Looking for an owners manual for McCulloch

McCulloch has traded hands so often lately Operator's Manuals are hard to find. You should be able to get some help here:
Normal business hours EST
All McCulloch Products
1.800.521.8559

Tell them up front it is a chainsaw, They won't be much help but if enough people inquire perhaps they will improve. Please have saw within easy reach before dialing.

Once frustrated there, go here:
Beg for manuals thread (ArboristSite) (free to join)
http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=72322
Do a search if not already listed post an inquiry, someone always helps.

An IPL can be found here:
http://www.mymowerparts.com/pdf/McCulloch_Parts_Service_Repair_Manuals/Gas_Powered_Chain_Saws/
The model number is usually on the bottom of your saw with the serial number. Precede the model number with the hyphenated number from your serial number.

Ignition coil gap:
An index or business card is a good gap tool. Remove the plug, rotate until magnetic attraction pulls coil and card tight to flywheel, tighten the coil screws. Rotate flywheel until magnetic attraction eases, remove card, rotate a couple of revolutions and ensure nothing drags or contacts flywheel. HTH

Hello,
There are 2 items that you need to pay close attention to is the air gaps;
1. Air gap of the points, and
2. Air gap between the permanent magnet and the pick up coil.
Use the manual to determine the proper gap size.

Good Luck,

Need sparkplug gap for McCULLOCH 3200

If you go to NGKsparkplugs.com, go to the tab at the top labeled 'part finder', select chainsaw, select MCCulloch, 3200 series...you get that it is .025 and the plug should be a BPM6F if using a regular NGK plug. Hope this helps...
