turn power off the nremove front cover the filter relay should be #1 position if not sure look at auxilarries and follow the red and black wire from filter to the relay why do you need to know?
when the indoor control start the alarm , did you notice any error code display in indoor control like 170 ? POSSIBLE IS THIS control a pool only or pool and spa combination, did you have a pool heater connected to compool 3400 (PENTAIR)
need more info are you looking for location if its showing shorted or over 104 degrees its bad look for it connected to plumbing after the pump the other side goes to the PCB board
The first thing that I see is if you have a service panel, make sure that it is in "auto", not "service" and that all switches are set to off. That is the panel by the pool/spa, not the main panel.
