This phone doesn't have voicemail! You need to speak to your IT guy, it is a system feature to the PBX unit, not the phones themselves. Here is your manual. You can set an Absent Message - Page 30.

while talking to someone:

1) press "CONF"
2) dial the extension number (or 9+the phone number) you want to conference in
3) wait for the person to answer
4) press "CONF" again

Press PROGRAM 99 the button (it must be a CO button with lights) and dial 1 + the extension and STORE.

It requires 3 things to display CID on a Panasonic system phone, CID service, CID hardware (part number TD-193), and programming. The 193 card is a 4-port card about 3 inches square and it attaches to the trunk card of a TD system.

It was an extra cost item in everything but the -7 cabinet, the last one Panasonic made in the series.

What you are looking for is a setting in the phone system, not the phone. You could have one of several different Panasonic phone systems that all program differently. Your first step is to find out which phone system you have. The part number should start with "KX-T" Then you will need a programming manual for the phone system.
