go to control panel click on recovery. in recovery click on advanced options.and if it gives you the option to restore to factory settings your computer will restart and you follow on screen instructions.if you don't have this option to restore to factory you will need install disk to reinstall from cd.
when you turn off the labtop turn it back on but keep hitting f8 you may have to do this a few times to get to the page you need ,once there you will be given a few options one will be restore to factory settings.good luck
IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BIOS
YOU CAN SET IT TO THE FACTORY DEFUALT
BUT IF YOU TALKING ABOUT WINDOWS YOU CANT ..ONLY YOU CAN MAKE SYSTEM RESTORE FOR LAST TIME AND DATE.
SO IF YOU TALLKING ABOUT WINDOWS YOU NEED TO RE INSTALL WINDOWS AGAIN AFTER YOU SAVE YOUR DATA AND FILES. AND MAKE A FORMAT BEFOR YOU INSTALL.
Check the manufacturer's website for the default access to the router configuration (maybe "admin" and "password") but I think the newer transmitters come wirth the wifi disabled out of the box and you need to configure it before you can use it.
If someone else configured it for you you'll have to do a factory reset and reconfigure the whole thing over again..
You can reset the BIOS to factory defaults by going into setup when the computer is booting. I am not sure what button to press either F2 or F10. It should show you at the bottom of the screen when computer is booting.
