open the door though, put your hand around the rubber boot assy, run *** all around looking for small tears, and or holes, if so replace it. only other thing to do is remove the lower access panel and watch it spin a load and youll be able to detect where te waters coming from
SOURCE: Water goes thru fabric softener dispenser not soap dispenser!
Yes you will need a service call, you may have a issue with the water valve or control, At the start of the cycle it should not be filling the softener dispenser till later in the program.

Hi dlypooh, thought I would post the solution here as well for anybody who needs to do a search in the future...
Remove the dispenser, pour water into the opening and make sure water
can get into the machine freely. Inspect the opening for soap build up.
If water goes down slowly (re: dlypooh), open the washer door and
feel around the bellow for anything blocking the water inlet port into
the washer (socks can sometimes get wedged up there and cause a
blockage).
If it all checks out ok, make sure the machine is properly leveled and not leaning forward.
Hope that helps!

We had a similar problem with water coming out of the soap dispenser when the washer was run. I assumed that it was a problem with the water draining as everyone else posted here. I took off the front panel, got rid of the junk and drained it. Although this was great, it did not solve the original problem. It turns out that there was a sock stuck in between where the water comes out of the soap dispenser and in to the main compartment. Pulled it out with a needle nose plier and good to go. Thanks to everyone for their input here.
Testimonial: "good to go "
