PC does not recognize the video recordings of my JVC Everio GZ-MG21

My dell lap top will not play the recording from my JVC GZ MG21 camcorder. It downloads and shows the pics just fine. But the videos dont seem to be recognized by the PC. Should I have a driver of software to view the videos?

Actually if you just change the .MOD endings to a .MPG it should work just try it on a file you have copied but keep the original intact. I also had the same problem with the JVC piece of junk I bought. This is what I found out on the net. It works but I don't know if there is and loss in the process

Use Cyberlink' s DVD solution software provided inside u'r shipment , Its only compatible with cyberlink, the format is MOI non recognized by most Video players except cyberlink power cinema NE, power director and DVD solutions

How can I make my JVC Everio GZ-MG21 compatible with windows 7

I have used my Enviro MG21 with windows 7 and now Win 8 with no problems so I don't think it is comparability issue.

Try opening up "My Computer" and see if Enverio appears as a device, if not try adding it via "Control Panel - then add device abd manually install via the on screen instructions"

Have a JVC everio. After shooting, I cannot switch off. I have to remove the battery to switch it off every time I use my JVC everio.

What happens when you press the "Record" button again (to stop recording)? Ca you power it off then?

Error code FF052102 for JVC powercinema. 99% completion of disc until failure.

Try not recording as much on the disc - it may need a certain amount of free space to record finalising information.
