For the high speed, (2950 ft/min), the belt should be installed on the rear pulley of both the motor and the wheel. For the low speed( 1445 ft/min), the belt should be installed on the front pulley of both the motor and wheel. To properly adjust the belt tension, turn hand wheel until there is 1/2" deflection in the "multi-vee" belt. By the way, where do you get your band saw blades? I got mine from sawblade.com and I happy with them.

Check your manual. If you don't have, go to bandsawmanuals.com and see if they have the manual for your band saw. Replacing drive belt is easy, the same process on how you install belt on other saws. I saw a video on youtube about, I suggest you watch band saw videos.

Can't remove the disc from 6030 sander
I did that the other day, on a Rikon 6×10 belt and disc sander. I keep a bottle of nail polish remover (acetone) in my shop. It is a good adhesive remover. I got a rag wet, and scrubbed it off. It was a little work, but not a lot.
I used 3M adhesive remover at work, it is very good.

You can look for a different brand of drive belt of band saw. I even have a different brand of drive belt but it fits and works well in my band saw. Try to give a call to www.bandsawparts.com for recommendations. You just have to give all the details they needed so they can provide you the best options. I made some orders with them recently . They are helpful.
