Frozen locknut on burner Thermador SGSX365ZS

First I would try heating it up until it is red and then twist it off. If that is not an option for you then I would get a rotary tool (hobby size) with a cutoff wheel and carefully cut into it from the side about halfway through. That will get it.

How to modify the tile to fit the cooktop

Can you be a little more specific?
The tile usually sits on a substrate and then the substrate sits on the counter.
Does the new cooktop fit into the current cabinet or does that also need to be modified?
How much more space do you need?
How far past the new cut line will the cooktop cover?
Short answer would be a grinder with a masonry cutting blade.
...and a vacuum.

The electronic ignitors on my cooktop won't shut off. what's up?

1) Clean your ignitors & Burner with a dry cloth and see if it works.
2) You need to have proper Ground in your electirc connection. If there is no/ Poor ground than the unit will keep igniting even after the flame is developed.
if none of the above helps than check all the ignitor cable there may be a cut / leak in the cable causing spark / ignition in the middle of the cable where there is a cut.

What is the cabinet cut out for a Jenn-air 30" prostyle cooktop model# jcp430adp. The manufacturers specs are not specific

The pictures that are posted on the Jenn Air site are confusing. I waited until I received the unit to make the cuts. I am glad that I did.

Burnes extinguish once lit.

These have flame failure technology so the gas will cut out if there is no flame. The thermocouples do this by keeping the gas valve open once they have heated up. This should only take 5-10secs though so any longer is probably an issue with the thermocouple

Cooktop light stays on when cool

the "hot top" indicator lamp is switched by a contact on the plate cut-out. sometimes this cut-out is available as a separate part but often must fit complete plate. by plate i mean the bit that gets hot!
