SOURCE: sand has entered my CP734 impact wrench.

Check the following website. It is a pdf file, so you will need Acrobat Reader, which is available on this website. After it loads, it lists various CP model numbers on the left side, so scroll down to 734 and click on it( it says 734 OBS) and it will open an exploded view of the breakdown of the CP 734 impact wrench. On the Acrobat toolbar, you can expand the picture as much as you want to and print it.

Good Luck!

SOURCE: Dont know where to put oil in Craftsman 1/2 " Impact wrench

I just bought one of these also. Manual says oil goes into "the air inlet" which I'm thinking is where you attach the hose. That way the oil is sprayed throughout the interior of the gun once you run air through it.
Question for you: I can't get an impact socket onto this gun, almost seems like the square hole is too small. (yes, both are 1/2" drive). How do you get a socket on this stupid thing?
(man that sounds like I'm an idiot, but I've spent a half hour leaning all my body wight, wiggling, etc. and can't get a damn socket on)

Do I need to put oil in a brand new Titan 24volt impact wrench

I have never used that brand of impact, but I have used many others and I have never known an electric impact or drill to need oil. You need oil in an air powered impact because the air motor needs lubrication. The electric motors in electric impacts have sealed bearings and brushes that are meant to run dry. The actual impact assembly should be sealed as well, it should not need any oil.

Product - Campbell Hausfeld TL1017 Butterfly Impact wrench I need a set of plastic valves. Where can these be purchased?

1-800-444-3353. This number is in the manual should you need some technical advice. I'd give them a call and see if they will mail you what you need. Can't find you a rebuild kit out on the net.

My 772h is running low power i pulled it apart and everything looks great a few light scatches in rear cyl .can i just polish it 320 grit or ??

you need a new rebuild kit with O rings and gaskets, take gun completely apart and make sure you get new air vanes too,the scratches dont make that much difference, but old seals will rob power from gun

Wrench Support

An impact wrench also requires a few special accessories. An air-powered impact wrench runs off of an air compressor with a tank – the air compressor should have at least a 10 gallon tank and be able to generate at least 3hp. Also, an impact wrench requires special sockets that are designed to withstand the high torque applied by the wrench.
