Two possible solutions:
1. After the pictures come up, right-click on one of them and select "open with" and choose Zoombrowser from the list.
2. Use a card reader. Create a folder on your desktop and when the pictures show up after connecting the card reader, simply select all (highlight them) and drag and drop to the folder. From there, you can import them to Zoombrowser.
The camera roll is a place where all your new pictures go. You cant transfer things back into the camera roll without a ton of effort. You could save the photos to an app and then when you save them back, they will be in the camera roll but im pretty sure you would have to do this for each individual photo.
Was there are cable came w. camera? Usually a mini usb cable... don't have to be the original cable as long as they are the same type of connectors. Connect the camera to pc w. cable and power up the camera.. that should start up Microsoft picture import or external storage. If it opens MS picture import follow the direction on the pop up window. If exteranl storage, open folder to view files, then select and copy paste to your pc. If all your pictures are saved on memory card, you could just pop the memory card out of camera and insert to mem. card reader in your pc or laptop and copy and paste or move them. this won't do anything or pictures save on cameras built in memory.
Hi you need to Import to "My Pictures" Folder if you can see that option. As soon as you plug in the USB plug from your Camera to the Computer it should make a sound and and Import menu should pop up. It will ask what you want to do with the images. You will select Import to my Computer, If it gives you an option to save to "MY PICTURES" Select that option. If not just Import to your Computer and then Later go to "Pictures" in Windows and select RECENTLY CHANGED option. This will pull up the Pictures you JUST PUT ON THE COMPUTER. Hope this helps
It's probably because Picasa 3 is not your default import program for photos. You can fix this by:
In Windows XP, your default import setting must be adjusted on a device by device basis: * Connect the import device (your camera or card reader) to your computer. * Double-click My Computer on your computer desktop. * Right-click the listing of your import device. * Select Properties. * Click the Autoplay tab. * Select 'Pictures' from the content drop-down menu. * Choose from two possible actions: * Select an action to perform: Select an application to handle import by default each time photos are detected on the specific piece of hardware. * Prompt me each time to choose an action: Choose an import application each time you attach your hardware. * Click Apply. * Click OK.
Windows Vista
Windows Vista allows you to set a global import preference for all photo or videos files. * Click Start > Control Panel. * Select Autoplay. * Under 'Picture' or 'Video,' select your default import program. * Click Save.
I finally figured it out. Somehow I had messed with the Autoplay settings uploading pics the last time I guess. Anyways, if you experience this problem, check this out first and see if it fixes it for you before you do anything else:
What if the import dialog box doesn't appear?
If the dialog box prompting you to import your pictures doesn't appear when you connect the camera to your computer, AutoPlay might be turned off. You can import your pictures using Windows Photo Gallery instead. Here's how:
1.
Open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.
2.
On the toolbar, click File, and then click Import from Camera or Scanner.
3.
In the Import Pictures and Videos dialog box, choose your camera from the list of devices, and then click Import. If you prefer, you can turn on AutoPlay or set AutoPlay to automatically import pictures from a digital camera. For more information, see Change AutoPlay Settings.
