Send the viseo to the Tv using composite or component input and send the audio ( red and white RCA audio ) to the BOSE.

I want to hook up my bose 321gsx system to my hdtv and a blue ray dvd player and be able to have suround sound out of the one im listening to, Do i have to hook up my old vcr also ?

No, flushing anything hi-def through a VCR is counter-prooductive and could lose the definition you paid for.

but some assumptions are necessary because you don't provide the details regarding the audio capabilities of your HDTV and BluRay player.

Check you cables. make sure that the Dish Box is hooked up and if you are run'n your cables from the Dish Box to the DVD player then you will have to keep the player on.

No Sound

Do you have the audio out for your dvd player and cable tv going to the bose speakers or is going to the television. It needs to be connected to the home theater system in order to work. The audio cables from dvd player and cable. Let me know if it works.

Hooking up bose 321 to my tv

I am about to go through the same process. I have a Bose 321, and am on the verge of getting a HDTV. From what I can figure, the Bose can play a dvd and input it to the HDTV via video and audio output plugs off the back of the Bose to the audio/video input jacks on the back of the new HDTV. I think individual cables will have to be run for each. They usually are red or white, sometimes green or blue. I am sure everyone has seen these in their life. The Bose 321 technology only had what was called an S-Video cable output for the best picture, which is how my current tv gets it's Bose signal, but now HDMI seems to have superceded S-Video. Therein lies an obstacle to be overcome.

CD stuck in disk tray of (original) BOSE 321

NO NEED TO TEAR APART OR REPLACE THE UNIT! JUST TURN OFF THE UNIT, LEAN IT FORWARD AND A LITTLE DOWNWARD AND HIT THE LOAD BUTTON AND IT WILL OPEN. THAT'S THE TRICK!

Toshiba 52hm95 DLP HDTV - no sound

What cables are you using? Some TV's and DVD players have options to set your audio source. My DVP5982 I have to set it to HDMI digital audio, check to see if you have that on your TV.
