How to replace brushes in rotozip rz20 - Bosch RotoZip Spiral Saw RZ10 - 2100

I don't know of a Z20 from RotoZip. I hope this helps.

The screw may have been loosened too much and a small plate has fallen out. Have you contacted RotoZip customer service directly?

Your speed controller has failed. You will need to get it replaced, brushes do not give, those symptoms.

have a look at the motor brushes??? could be worn out

go to tool parts direct online.

I have had similar problems in the past using my Roto-Zip on jobs. You may want to check the internal brushes in the machine have not been clogged with the dust from the ceramic tiles. The unit may have simply overheated from the stress of cutting the tile. This will also affect the brushes in the Roto-Zip. A can of compressed air may help clear any dust built up around the brushes. If they brushes are caked with to much dust, you may have to take the unit appart and manually clean the brushes. But, be careful because the brushes are spring loaded. Hope this information is helpful.

open the chuck and look in the center there is a screw allen type most times or a star screw in the middle that connects it to the drill shaft just tighten it up should work fine then!
