Canon iR2200: ends PD-ME calibration with E-846.

Started as light copies; Cleaned optix, DV roller, Xfer roller. Checked birth cert, ran CCD adj, DPC, Toner Stir. No improvement. Ran PD-ME process but the displayed result, instead of "OK" or "NG", is "E -846". This is NOT displayed in the way expected for a Call Service code, nor is there an entry in the log. And there is no listing for E-846 anywhere in my documentation.

A E-846 is a problem with the scanning lamp calibration. To resolve the problem you can do one of two things. First you will have to replace the scanning lamp & the scaner inverter PCB as a pair with the up-dated version PCB. Or if you have a parts machine, you can use a working scanning lamp with the PCB and replace them as a set or pair. You can not use a lamp from one copier and a pcb from another.. They have to be a matched set... Good Luck

Horizontal line on printed page

When you use the flatbed the copy is perfect because the ccd sensor is under the glass cover and obviously is free form dust/ dirt.
On the other hand if you use the feeder the ccd sensor is located in between the roller assembly (not sure exactly for this model).
This means that the page is scanned by the ccd in the feeder, any dirt on the ccd will appear as a black line. I assume that you are feeding papers from the side and not from the top that is why you get a horizontal line.

A quick test to see if the ccd sensor is dirty is to feed the paper from the top side to the feeder. If you get a vertical line it is a proof that your ccd sensor needs to be cleaned.
The worst case is that the sensor in the feeder assembly has a tiny spot that is damaged and it is causing the black line.
So , first try the test, then open the feeder assembly, locate the ccd and clean it. Hope that this helps.

My caonon ir2200 printer/copier unable to taking paper form the tray what should i do.......?

Take the problem tray completely out and look inside with a flash light and look for 3 feed rollers. If these are worn out, they should be cleaned first and if that doesn't do it, they have to be replaced.
You can clean them with Orange cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.

Ir 2200 a3 paper at the end is

Try to flip the A3 paper (in your paper drower), it may be if it isnt used so often it can be moisty, so when it pass the fixing roller, he bacames undulate.

Or if A4 is ok, that means that sorter does not work OK, because the A3 is longer and it pass longer way and more rollers.

Light stripe on scans

Possible causes, CCD failure, smudges or marks that can only be picked up by the CCD if the underside of the scanner glass is dirty. Uninstalling/reinstalling your scanner driver will eliminate if its software related or not. From the looks of it, could be with the CCD if the lines are in the same area with every scan attempted.
