try to make some copies from your pc if the results is ok that simply means something with your scanner unit, for exaple the pnnel needs to be lubricated and the ccd unit needs to be cleaned.
Sounds like your printer may need IPDS, I'll need to see a configuration page from your printer in order to determine whats on it. you can email me it at [email protected]
Symtom that scan head might be faulty, remove four screws located at corners, take out flat glass unit, remove scan head, check any damages in driving mechanism, clean reading head, fix it back and check.. If no result replace scan head unit.. acsn head snap shot:
why dont you just type it on the notepad..
ex : open a notepad editior, then write IP config /all - if you want to view your whole network status..
while IP Config /release - is to released the desired network, then ipconfig /renew - set or refresh your network..
If you only want to have a documentation for your ip, then much better to write it down on the notepad editor.
hope it can help...
Thanks
there is small preset in LSU pcb (laser scanning unit) exist at lower side of printer for laser intensity
try to adjust that preset slightly low level (anti clockwise)& check the result both color & b/w
Do you use more than one computer with the printer and get same results? You may want to check with another PC, but either way you can try these steps easily:
Attempt to reset the printer, unplug it, leave it off (overnight would be best) but at least 15 minutes or so and try again.
Update Brother software and drivers on your computer, ensure computer software is working correctly, up-to-date, and has no errors.
Watch it print and ensure paper is moving normally as it prints, and that your paper type moves through the printer OK. If paper is sticking or hanging up as you print, it will blur/distort your print jobs. Clear out any debris or material making paper stick.
