1350W HOW TO KNOW IF IT NEEDS CLEANING - Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W Laser Printer

Pull all imaging units out and clean the laser with the wand provided either in tray or on front door.

You can find this wire on the front side of the drum assy. You can check near the drum it is known as Corona wire which passes high voltage to erase the drum making it ready to receive the next image. You can clean if with a ear swab without any cleaning liquids. And also do remember that sometimes there is an Blue color tab on right or left side of the toner which moves hence you can clean with it as well. Its been given for the same purpose.

I have this printer in the attic coz of vista. konica minolta did not bother to create a driver for VISTA. I brought out the 1350w not that i got win 7. still no driver.... i have a feeling there wont be a 1350w driver for win 7. however they have 1400w drivers for vista/7.

the only way you can print with the 1350W is as a remote printer in win virtual pc running xp.

Hello sir; Not thing you can use forever if lifetime is out you need to change otherwise the streak line not go away.

I had the same problem. I noticed there is a ridged rubber wheel that picks up the paper and it was just sliding over the paper. I opened the printer, pulled the toner cartridge out and rubbed the wheel with my finger until I could feel friction. Closed it back up and it works. Perhaps the rubber wheel gets coated with paper fiber and makes it less "sticky" over time. A simple cleaning may be all it needs.

i just installed a new cartridge , but i still have vertical streaks on my sheets

do i need to get the toner clean , and what product do i use ?

There is no cleaning sequence for the 1350w. I usually just pull the toner unit out and clean the roller, etc. Compressed air for the moving parts and hard to reach places. Best to do it outside.
