SOURCE: Charging the battery on Samsung Upstage sph-m620.

Well if it's new, then I would take it back to the store from where you bought it. It will be under warranty so, if something is wrong you should be able to get it swapped out with a working one.

SOURCE: Samsung SGH D807 Charging Problem and no screen display

Hello,

Have you try to use another similar charger to charge your phone to see if it ill charge? because it could be that your charger is bad,. But if you have done that and it is same thing, it means the charging port of your phone is malfunctioning, that is why you have to use repetitive effort before it can charge.

Your battery is not charge due to the bad charging port of your phone, so your phone battery can not hold charge.

To resolve 1 and 2 problem of your phone, all you need to do is to change the charging port of your phone in other for your phone battery to charge and for your battery to charge.

Replace the charging port as said and you will see that your phone battery will charge.

For your screen, is it that the entire screen is black that you cannot see anything, not even text or see names from your contact? if it is, what you need to do is to change the flex on the the screen of your phone and you will see that your screen will display as you want it.

Take care.

SOURCE: Phone will not charge. Says

FWIW Battery isn't the issue every time. Had the phone gotten wet?, which was what started my problem. In my case, the battery isn't the reason for the message. Battery will charge from another phone, and when that phone's battery is install the same message results. Switching chargers fixes nothing, and so far no one has a solution, over the last year. Phone works correctly. No other issues, otherwise.

My pone is charging but wont turn on i have taken the battery out several times and it is full charged but still wont turn on what should i do

replace the battery with a new one. Many battery types create a 'memory' when used repeatedly without a full charge. stopping the charging process prior to full charge lowers the level the battery 'expects' a full charge to be. Do this often enough and you will create a battery that expects full charge to occur at zero charge.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 - NO POWER, BATTERY, CHARGING AND CHARGER ISSUES alltabshighlighted.jpg

No power, battery, charging and charger issues

This guide contains troubleshooting steps and advice to help resolve issues you may experience when attempting to charge the handset.
After performing each step, please test to see if the issue is resolved.
Symptoms:
  • Battery not charging
  • Battery is not lasting long
  • Phone won't charge
  • Charging error
  • Failure to charge
  • Display remains black or blank
  • No power
  • Boot failure
  • Overheating
Troubleshooting Questions
  • Are you using the correct equipment?Make sure you are using an approved Samsung wall charger and USB charging cable. Other brands of charging accessories may have different voltage parameters and could cause charging issues when used with Samsung devices.
  • Have you charged your phone for longer than 30min? Leave your phone plugged in to the charger for about 30min without powering on. In some cases, it may take slightly longer for your phone to charge.
  • Is the battery icon displayed on the screen when charging? After charging your phone for a little while you should get a battery charging icon appear on the screen which will indicate that your battery is charging properly.
If the charging icon appears, leave your phone for a little longer before you try to switch your phone on.
If however, the screen is blank and nothing is displayed, follow the below troubleshooting steps.
  • Is the charging cable plugged into a USB port? Some charging cables can disconnect from the wall outlet adapter and plug directly into a USB port. However, when plugged into a USB port, the charging process is much slower due to the limited power output of USB ports. Instead, plug the device directly into a wall outlet to speed up the charging process.
  • Is the outlet faulty? Try a different outlet or check for a switch connected to the outlet. If possible, try powering a different device on the same outlet.
  • Does another USB cable, or wall charger work? Charging issues can occur if either the battery or charging cable is damaged. Verify that the charging contacts are clean. If necessary, clean the contacts using a cotton swab and rubbing on isopropyl alcohol.
If possible, test the charging cable by plugging it into another device and seeing if the device charges. Alternatively, try charging the device with a different cable. This may mean changing out the cable or the adapter on two-piece chargers.
If charging through a car charging kit, ensure that the car engine is running, and if possible try to charge other devices using other cables, through the same car kit. If none will charge, then it is likely there is a fault with the car charging kit. It is recommended to continue to cross-test devices, cables, and car kits until the problem device can be identified.
If the device charges when using a different USB cable or wall charger, the issue most likely lies with the charging accessory. In this case, follow the approved charger repair / replacement process.
Also, if the charger is connected via an extension or other multi-socket adapter, remove this and plug the charger directly into the wall-mounted socket. This will eliminate the possibility of a fault with the adapter.
If you are still unable to charge your device, continue to the next step.
  • Has the phone experienced any shock or exposure to water? Accidental physical shock to a handset can sometimes cause problems to arise with battery or charger, as these components contain delicate parts, particularly. Damage can occur either to the component itself, or to the component's connection to the motherboard.
Water exposure can also lead to damage of these components, however due to the slow way in which this type of damage can manifest itself, the cause may not always be readily obvious.
With any physical damage of this nature, the only recourse is to contact the device manufacturer, and follow their approved repair or replacement process.

My samsung gt 15500 won't charge up. It was working fine 2 days ago and yesterday i brought the usb lead to work with me to charge it with my computer. Nothing happened when i plugged it in so i...

If the phone was totally dead before it refused to charge initially, then the refusal to charge is due to the fact that there was no residual charge left to bring it to a charge, because the battery completely died.
To fix it, kick start the charging process.
Remove the battery, and using a universal charger (desktop charger) charge the battery for say 10 minutes, before re- inserting the battery to the phone and continuing with the normal charging process.
If this does not work out, then problem is with the charging port. It has to be replaced. This can be done by nearby local phone repairers.
Hope it helps?
Success.

I plug my phone into the charger and it won't charge.. it sometimes charges but I have to keep turning it off and on and taking the battery out and when it does charge I can't use it while charging or it...

this problem could be a few things......either the phone jack where you plug it in to charge it- is loose....not soldered good enough inside the phone......or......the plug from the charger is bad...intermittant connection.........or........the battery in your phone is defective so instead of charging normally, it will only charge slightly until the phone says that there's a problem with the battery, so it will stop charging because it is trying to charge a bad battery....try to change the battery first with a new one....if that doesn't work then the first 2 faults that i mentioned would probably be the cause......of course you can always have the plug and jack on the phone checked first before you buy a new battery...it's up to you which one you want to try first.....good luck

Kodak digital camera not charging/ indicator not shown while plug in charger

Either an error occurred during charging, an AC power disruption occurred during charging, the wrong AC power adapter is being used, batteries are over- discharged, batteries are defective, or no batteries are installed in the camera.
Try charging the batteries a couple of times. If that fails, try charging the batteries in an external charger. If the batteries still will not charge, purchase new batteries and try again

Hi how long should it take to charge the

Yes you certainly can. Modern day phones your intrunsic semiconductors to reulate the level of charging. At its simplest lvele a zenner diode in reverse bias or a normal diode with a potential divider that ensures that the charging process stops the moment the potential across the battery exceeds that required as per the settings of the poptential divider the diode starts conducting and charge is blocked off.

Battery problems

You need to replace your battery.  When you do follow these steps to preserve battery life.
1.  Fully charge battery for 24 hours 2.  Make sure that you use the phone without charging it until the phone tells you the battery is low. 3. Fully charge the battery until it reaches full again.
The reason your battery is failing to hold a charge is a problem call battery memory.  The less power that you use off the battery the less capacity the battery has.

Lg mobile battery indicator

Have you tried a different plug? Sounds like the plug might be bad. If you have a car charger, and a house charger, I would try both. IF one charges, and the other one doesnt, you have your answer. If you have trouble with both, then either you have 2 bad plugs, or the socket on your phone might be bad.
Either way, your local phone dealer can check them out in seconds, and some places won't even charge.
Good luck
