I understand you are trying to unlock your Frigidaire microwave, model# FFMV164LSA. This has two different meanings to me. First, if the door is locked and will not come open, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Secondly, the control lock is on. If the control lock is on, you will need to press and hold down the "Stop/Cancel" button for 3-5 seconds, to unlock it. It depends on the model but for most: To Lock/Unlock: Touch and hold START and ENTER for 5 second until 2 tones sound and "L" appears on display. Repeat the same if you lock or unlock.

I have a Whirlpool toom which states in manual: -- To lock/Unlock....Touch and hold START?ENTER for 5 second until 2 tones sound and "L" appears on dsplay. Repeat the same if you lock or unlock. Hope this helps.

"Locke" meaning the door? or locked meaning the buttons don't work? If it is the buttons then you have the child lock on. Push and hold the "Start" button for 4 to 5 seconds, and it will unlock.

remove the outer casing so that you can gain access to the door locking mechanism, you will then have to use common sense to decide how to repair

if there is a key on the pad that says "child lock" press and hold that for 30 seconds or so until it unlocks, if there is no key that says "child lock" try doing that to the "end/stop" key or the "start" key

This is a Whirlpool model, so one of these methods should work:

- Press and hold the Cancel button for 3 or 4 seconds.

- Touch and hold START/ENTER for 4 seconds.

- Touch and hold START for 5 seconds
