Hi, I am trying to fix a very old Frigidaire Caprice Oven (by General Motors believe it or not). It 'popped' and now does nothing. Only the light and main element (part number 821259) worked previously, but now neither work (I changed the light bulb). I checked the fuses in the outside electrical box, all good. A new element is $128 with no return. How can I check it is really the element before buying a new one? There are no signs of damage, holes etc on the element. Or is there a hidden fuse or something in the oven?

oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself... Oven is Heating Slowly or Poorly894 views
