I bought a refilled black ink cartridge and installed it and now the printer says the black ink cartridge is missing
If a black cartridge will not print, with no error messages, it is probably th printhead. Clean it with proper cleaning solution. Refilled ones if done yourself or by someone else, can also have air bubbles, Try blowing down refill hole with tissue under the cartridge to stop ink spills. Also, if you press a folder non scented wipe under the cartridge firmly, you should get a solid little black line or impression. This will tell you if the ink is getting down ok. Try reprinting.

I cannot print in black after refillinga cartridge. I have tried 5 seperate cartridges.
I have a Lexmark X125 and have changed both cartridges. The color one works the black cartridge is not acknowledged. Says to install black one. I have tried a used one, and two different new ones, still it will not work.
Every time I replace either the black ink or color ink cartridge, the program gives a low or out of ink warning ??? when I purchased my all in one model X4270 I believe they gave me the wrong program disc even though it was compatable with most of the basic functions, it still wont let me install the ink .can I obtain the correct program disc or on line download to correct this annoying problem ? Your help will be appreciated, thank you. Louis
