On the Control panel press asterisk (with the head) next to ? mark the press the ID SYSTEM SETTING>NETWORK SETTING>TCP IP .you can reset or erase the IP Addres or if you know to go to service program :COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR> MN-CON then switch OFF and ON the machine it will restart and then the machine will asked to switch ON/OFF theunit then all are reset

SOURCE: RESET IR 2018 AS FACTORY DEFAULT

Additional Functions button>ID System Settings>Initilize All Data Setting tab. This may take a while to process do not power down during this time.

THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE FIXING FILM, IT HAS A SENSOR ON ONE SIDE THAT IS WERE THE FILM IS TORN. REPLACE THE FIXING FILM

When i start canon photocopier ir-2016j , its shows error download standby
Your machine appears to think it's waiting for a file (like an update). Somehow it was put into download mode (only a canon tech would know how to). You need to have a canon technician to either reset the machine or if there is a legitimate problem put it into factory default.
It may be a hard drive error from my experience.

Canon ir 2020 ng 853 error. Can ping and see web interface no problem but I cannot print from Vista but from XP it prints fine.
