Distorted sound

Distorted sound on a MP3 player is usually caused by one of the following:

- Volume is set on to high
- Battery is going flat or does not hold enough chargeL: test by playing song while connected to an external PC power source/USB charger.
- Your Earphones/Headset has been damaged due to abuse (player songs too loud in general for an extended period) or too loud from another/PC source) - To test, try it on another music player or PC.
- Your unit is really faulty or you have a bad plug connection: to test, try jiggling the plug while listening to a song.
