A spark in the bottom element of the oven caused the element to stop working. Assuming that the element just needed to be replace, I bought the part and replaced it, but it still didn't work. I've been told that it could be the board, but the board still lights up the digital display on the front of the oven and is a large expense that is not refundable if it doesn't fix the problem.
Looks like it might be the high limit switch. This has instructions for changing it also. http://www.partselect.com/Models/JJW7530DDS/Instructions/

The circuit board is for the display/touch panel. It is mounted on the back of the display panel itself and connected to the other circuit boards by two multipin connectors. When you remove the display panel (3 screws on top, 4 on the bottom) you will be able to GENTLY detach those connectors. They are low voltage and may be handled safety even when the oven is powered, but I agree that turning off the oven circuit breaker is good practice.
To remove the circuit board, GENTLY release the two black plastic tabs; the solder pads are underneath. I too used a 100 mf capacitor because no local supplier had a 68 mf hi-temp. Observe polarity; the (-) lead goes towards the center of the board (away from the edge connector.)
BTW, I had exactly the same symptoms (display goes dim, then goes out altogether.)

I replaced the C3 capacitor on the circuit board and works fine. This was mentioned in a prior post and took 5 minutes and was under $5.00 for the part.

You need to replace the C3 capacitor on the control board

You can replace only the C3 - it is 68uF / 35V and you can go to Radio Shack and get their part # 272-1028 - 100uF/35V one. It takes all but 10 minutes to re-solder the new one in place
