If the monitor gets no signal it will show orange. or ,It's hibernating or sleeping. Shut down computer, reboot, open Control Panel, Power settings, change to High Performance, change Hibernate to never or disable, change sleep to never or disable. Shut down the computer and monitor when not in use. It will last longer and reset the computer every day when turned on.
Go into the setup menus, and look for an option that is standby timer, or auto power off. You should then be able to disable the feature, or change the time duration.
This is assuming that you are not using the "sleep" function.
hmmm is it your monitor going to sleep..or the machine? might the computer still be running?

Check the Backlight Auto-Off setting If the Backlight Auto-Off setting is turned ON, the backlight will turn off after a set period of time. Press any button to turn the screen back on. To check the Backlight Auto-Off setting:
From the XMB™ menu, go to (Settings) > [Power Settings] and press the button.
Highlight [Backlight Auto-Off] and press the button.
Select a time interval and press the button to save. Select OFF if you wish to disable this feature.

Check the Display Button Check the Display button on the front of the PSP system.
