I just bought this thing 18 hours ago. The blue power button is on but will not display anything. This is my husband birthday present in celebration from returning from Iraq, All Hitachi would tell me is send it back. We are a military family stationed in Iraq. HELP

I know this might sound stupid but try changing the channel or changing the aux / cable / tv button... I had to put my phillips 50" in the shop for the same problem ..but I had it for 3 yrs .they said it was the power supply and will cost 1k to get the power back and may cost evne more if one of the boards went out (video i guess?) so make sure u get the extended warentee u will need it .Its only a matter of time ... good luck quickdrj
