I presume from your question you have a message that has popped up 'Replace the Waste Toner bottle'. This is a consumable item and will need to be replaced every 30000 pages. Emptying the old one is not recomeded as the toner is very fine, very messy, very hard to get spills out of clothing and so you will need to purchase a replacement (instalation instructions provided)

Open up the right front cover, open up the right upper cover, open up the right lower cover. the waste toner cartridge is there facing you, it should just pull out.

see the 179 page on the manual for the instructions about the waste toner bottle...
basically it is a box for the waste ink ...and usually it can be cleaned or something like that or changed ..the error may be from a dirty sensor ..or the waste box being full or ..just got to the counter limit ..and need to be cleaned and reset ..or just not in the place ..
Also if somebody else has access to the device ..ask if it tried anything or maybe it removed it and forgot to place it back ..

Open the right side door. there at the bottom is a long plastic bottle full of waste toner. If you have no spare bottle then carefully (dont create dust) empty toner into a bin liner. Now tap the bottle on the table to allow any toner on the sides to fall back to the bottom. now refit and all should be well.
