Question about HP 417035-001 - HP Pavilion dv2000 Series Laptop Full Featured Intel Chipset Motherboard
I would like to reformat my HP Pavilion DV2000, I do not have any CD's to go with the Laptop, but I do have a Windows XP Professional installation disk, will I be able to reformat this laptop? How would I go about doing this?
When you put in the windows installation disc and restart your computer you will get a screen where you have the option to delete and reformat any existing disc partitions, choose delete current partition and reformat in NTFS and then you can install windows on newly formatted drive
