Hi, it might not be from the firmware update that the volume gets low.It might be from the speaker already getting bad without you noticing it. you can replace the speaker too it might work out.

Also firmware update can cause it too. Updating with the wrong firmware ...

Settings Mode > System Info, for the version.
Note: firmware versions cannot / should not be exchanged !

I set mine to never check for updates then do it manually but that is your call.
Install the updater and plug you c250 in.
It will show you any updates for the Firmware AND User Guide.

Note: The firmware updates will be installed on the c250 and the guide will be installed in the folder the updater is in (should give you a link in the start menu)
