Well after many emails to Navigon I got the fix for my 2000s What you have to do is download the 1.2 version software for the 5100 install it on a 2GB micro SD Card. Put it in the slot and turn it on. You will have to regester as if you have a 5100 but it will work. The reason you have to use a 2GB card is the maps are to large to go on the internal memory.

there is a reset hole somewhere on there that you could fit a paperclip in, click on that for 5 seconds and it will reset your device for you

if your sd card is OK, there should be an update program on it, you have to go to windows ce on the unit to run this program. to do this hold the bottom right key while booting...
