unplug the power supply hold the power supply button down with the cord out for up to 60 seconds, then plug it back it, worked for me.
mine was caused by a sensor program trying to access the sensors in the PC which caused a boot failure for some reason.
(computer shutting down to protect itself?)

could be boot file corrupted or damaged? meaning it cannot find the OS load files. what happened immediately before this? check your motherboard inside the shell, look for swollen capacitors(small cylinders) all over the board, they have crisscrosses on their tops, if some or one lookes likes it has swollen it may have overheated and is causing the motherboard to malfunction. this usually happen on HPs but could happen to anyone. else the harddrive boot file failed. check heat sink fan if spinning over cpu. overheating can stall start up. good luck. if capactors failed you need new motherboard or pc. shops will not usually fix those.
